Created for More Check-In
A 15-minute check-in on the life you're actually building.
You were created for more than simply getting through the week, meeting expectations, and checking off the next task. But even when we know what matters most, it is remarkably easy for life to drift.
The Created for More Check-In is a 28-question whole-life reflection tool designed to help you slow down long enough to see where your life is aligned with what matters most, where you may be drifting, and what deserves your attention next.
It is built around The Stewardship Blueprint — a framework for intentionally building a life around what God has entrusted to you and what He has called you toward.
And when we talk about stewardship, we mean much more than money.
We are called to steward our faith, our relationships, our bodies, our time, our abilities, our resources, our energy, our influence, and ultimately the legacy our lives are creating.
The goal isn’t a perfect score. It’s greater awareness.
This isn’t a pass/fail test, and it isn’t about comparing your life to someone else’s. Think of it as a mirror and a map. A mirror helps you honestly see where you are today. A map helps you determine where you want to go next.
Your answers will help you look across seven interconnected areas of your life — from your faith and identity at the bedrock to the legacy your life is ultimately producing.
How to use this Check-In
Set aside about 15 quiet minutes. For each statement, rate yourself from 1 to 5 based on what is actually true, not what you wish were true. A lower score is not a reason for shame — it is an invitation to notice what needs attention next.
Layer 1
Bedrock · Faith & Identity
Is my identity rooted in something deeper than performance and pressure?
I know who I am beneath my roles, titles, and achievements.
My daily choices flow from a settled identity, not from proving myself.
I return to my faith as a source of stability, not just a Sunday habit.
I can name the truth I stand on when life feels uncertain.
Layer 2
Foundation · Mission, Values & Purpose
Am I living with clarity about what kind of life I am building?
I have clarity about what matters most in this season.
My calendar reflects my stated priorities.
I could state my mission and values in a sentence if asked.
I am building my life around purpose, not just pressure or expectation.
Layer 3
The Four Pillars · Family, Fitness, Fun & Finances
Are the areas I stand on every day actually able to hold weight?
The people I love are receiving my presence, not just my provision.(Family)
My sleep, movement, and health support the life I want to build.(Fitness)
I make room for joy, rest, and meaningful experiences — not just obligation.(Fun)
My finances serve my purpose and values, not fear or comparison.(Finances)
Layer 4
Guardrails · Boundaries That Protect What Matters
Do I have boundaries in place before I need them — not just after damage is done?
I have clear boundaries around my time, attention, and commitments.
I have limits in place that protect my integrity under pressure.
I say no to good things that would crowd out my best things.
Someone else knows my guardrails and helps me keep them.
Layer 5
Keystone Habits · Small Rhythms That Strengthen the Structure
Do my daily habits move me toward the life I say I want?
I have identified one or two habits that, if kept, would change everything else.
My mornings or evenings have a rhythm that supports who I am trying to become.
When a keystone habit slips, I notice quickly and recover instead of spiraling.
My habits are shaping my identity, not just filling my to-do list.
Layer 6
Energy · The Resource Beneath Every Other Resource
Am I stewarding the energy beneath everything I do?
I know where my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy actually goes.
I have rhythms of renewal built in before I hit empty, not just after.
I recognize the difference between being busy and being depleted.
I am living on today's connection with God, not yesterday's.
Layer 7
Legacy · What Your Life Multiplies
What is my life producing beyond me?
I am intentionally shaping what the next generation sees in me.
My time, money, and influence are aligned with what I want to leave behind.
I have had a real conversation about legacy with someone I love.
I am building something today that will outlast me.
